Hi, I'm Tatianna.

Executive planner turned founder. Calm in chaos, a little obsessed with details, currently losing to a stack of unread fantasy novels. Here's more of the story.

I

started Love Punch Planning because I got tired of watching couples flatten their personalities into a Pinterest board. Somewhere between the mood boards and the seating charts, people forget that the best part of a wedding or a big event is the stuff that's actually, specifically theirs.

boards and the seating charts, people forget that the best part of a wedding or a big event is the stuff that's actually, specifically theirs.

I didn't start out in events. My first real job was an administrative assistant position at a security company, and it took about five minutes to know that wasn't it for me. So I enrolled in the Meeting and Event Planning program at ACC and started working with The Cupcake Bar and Blue Events and Co., diving headfirst into the event and wedding world. Before Love Punch became the full-time thing, I was an Executive Event Planner at Blue Events and Co.

My first full-service clients under Love Punch were Kayleigh and Patrick, and their wedding is still one of my favorites. Their playlist was mostly rock music, and somehow the entire room was vibing to it anyway. We ran a "Masking Hour," where my assistant and I walked around with trays of masks for guests to pick and wear for the rest of the night. That's the kind of detail I live for, the one that has nothing to do with tradition and everything to do with who's actually getting married.

I

t's an investment. We're here to protect what you've already planned and make sure the day goes smoothly. You can have all the right elements, but without someone putting it all together, things fall through the cracks.

I moved to Austin with my family in high school, and it just stuck. These days, most of what I plan is weddings, with social and corporate events keeping things interesting on the side. What ties it all together is the same thing: no templates, no cookie-cutter days, just events that actually feel like the people throwing them.

Four things you can count on.

No templates

One of my favorite weddings was for a couple who wanted their day to be fun above all else. We brought in a bounce house, an upscale kids' lounge, Beer Burros, a photo booth, a popcorn machine, and live music. It felt like a carnival because it reflected who they were. That's how I approach every wedding. I build the day around the couple, not the other way around.

The calm before the storm

Odds are you already have a hype woman in your friend group. I'd rather be the person you can relax around, both on planning calls and on the day itself. I've sat with a bride in the bridal suite for fifteen quiet minutes before everything began because sometimes the best support is simply creating space to breathe and enjoy the moment.

Handled, quietly

When a thunderstorm forced a DJ’s entire setup indoors during dinner, my team kept the reception moving while I worked behind the scenes to protect the equipment and make the transition seamless. The couple never noticed the chaos happening around them. They just got to enjoy the best dance party of the night, exactly as it should be.

Handled, quietly

I always schedule a week-of check-in before sending the final details to the vendor team. Some planners skip this because it can lead to last-minute changes, but I've found those changes happen whether you have the conversation or not. I'd rather catch them before everything is finalized so everyone is on the same page and your wedding day runs as smoothly.

An opinion,

free of charge:

I love watching wedding parties shrink. Close friends getting ready together beats an obligatory grand entrance every time, unless you're really into that, in which case, go for it.

Things that make me, me.

My dream event to plan

A Cirque du Soleil style banquet. Full acrobatics, wild visuals, dinner as a performance. If a client ever asks for this, I am already in.

Pets

Callie and Keanu. Ask me about them and I will not stop talking.

Event day fuel

Coca-Cola. Not a guilty pleasure, a requirement.

On the playlist

Phantogram, on repeat. Indie and alternative, mostly, with room for whatever the couple's playlist throws at me.

My favorite kind of client

Creative, a little nerdy, genuinely themselves. The ones who show up with a Pinterest board and a personality.

Ready when you are.

Tell us a little about your event, and let's see where it goes.
